![]() I had writing mentors and critique partners and I went to workshops and I learned how NOT TO SUCK. ![]() Then I started to connect with lots of people who did know. The idea was good, but I didn’t have the first clue what I was doing. I revised it 57 times, but it was still terrible. She has volunteered as a rape victim activist for more than ten years, including providing direct service as an advocate in hospital ERs.
